FKI-IMI(Federation of Korean Industries-Internatinal Management Institute) and GCEF (Global Competitiveness Empowerment Forum) organized and implemented the industrial site visit to POSCO plant in Pohang on January 10, 2014. 14 people including corporate trainers of NABIS(Northeast Asia Business Integrity School), the education and training project of university students in the topics of business ethics and compliance participated.
Trainer Training is the activity that promote bonded relationship among NABIS trainers which comprise NABIS community. Various types of workshop style can be applied such as industrial site visits and breakfast or dinner meetings, so that NABIS trainers can exchange their experiences, knowledge and company cases in more informal setting. The most important aspect is to meet NABIS trainers in different cycles so that all together, NABIS 1, 2 and 3 trainers can be closer as NABIS community. Namely, Trainer Workshop bridges separate NABIS cycles and make them as a whole as NABIS community.
This was prepared as one of NABIS trainer workshops, co-hosted by Siemens and FKI-IMI(Federation of Korean Industries-International Management Institute) and organized by GCEF. NABIS team and NABIS trainers from Cycle 1 to 3 visited Pohang steel plant site, POSCO History Museum and Public Information Center and learnt about development of South Korean steel industry.
On the same day, year starting networking dinner meeting also took place in Seoul with attendance of 20 people, mixture of NABIS Team and NABIS Cycle 1, 2 and 3 companies.
